![]() Neither is there a mention of a light in the manual so I assume the driver has to remember when cruise control is engaged.Ī colleague who regularly uses cruise control in other makes of car reports that 'cruise engaged' is often NOT accompanied by an indicator you simply have to rely upon your memory. There is no light on the end of the stalk, at least nothing lights up when I operate the stalk. There is no mention in my manual of a Speed Limiter. I have no idea whether there was a manual option. Incidentally, my C230 Kompressor Sport is an automatic. Your description of the cruise control operation most closely matches that described in my manual, except for the 1km/h increments of which there is no mention. It is therefore important I fully understand its operation before using it in earnest. There appear to be situations where its use could cause an accident. I get the feeling that you have to be very careful when and where you use cruise control. My thanks to you all for your contributions. It doesn't lose more than 1mph on a motorway hill, nor gain 1mph going downhill.Ĭan't convince my wife to use it though, ever ! ![]() I've had three cars with cruise and the Merc is the most accurate and safest. (This can be quite scary if you have lost a lot of speed after disengaging as the amount of throttle applied is proportional to the lost speed and can cause kickdown). Having disengaged cruise and reduced speed, flicking the stalk towards you at a speed of more than 25mph causes the memorised speed to be obtained and held. Whilst in cruise, pushing the stalk away or dabbing the brakes disengages the cruise control but memorises the last held speed. Whilst in cruise, holding the stalk down cuts the throttle and the speed at which you release the stalk becomes the new cruise speed.ĥ. Whilst in cruise, holding the stalk up will apply quite a lot of extra throttle and the speed at which you release the stalk becomes the new cruise speed.Ĥ. Whilst in cruise, flicking the stalk up or down will increase or decrease the held speed by 1 km/h.ģ. Manually reach your cruise speed and flick the stalk up or down to hold that speed.Ģ. ![]() If it is the same as my 2000 C220 CDi, then it works like this :ġ. Maybe I haven't grasped how the control is supposed to work. ![]() This seems logical but that's not what the narrative describes. Maybe it's the translation of German into English that's the problem.ĭoes moving this stalk control up increase road speed and does momentarily flipping this control up program the speed reached into the cruise computer?Ĭonversely, does moving the control down decrease road speed and does momentarily flipping this control down program the speed reached into the cruise computer?ĭoes moving the control backwards deactivate the cruise control?Īnd does moving the control forwards resumes control at the programmed speed? There is no 'in' or 'out' operation to the stalk.Ĭall me thick but I don't believe the narrative describing the operation of the control alongside the picture of the stalk is correct. This control has four movement: up, down, forwards (towards driver) and backward (away from driver). On page 31 on my M-B Driving Owners Manual C-class is depicted the lefthand stalk used to provide cruise control. I, too, am new to automatics and the C230 Kompressor Sport has cruise control which I occassionally select by mistake when searching for the other lefthand stalk control. I assume the operation is not that dissimilar to the C180 of the same year. I have a query concerning the cruise control fitted to the above vehicle. 2000 C230 kompressor cruise control operation ![]() You have 7 dps golems instead of 6, a 16.66% more multiplier for damage.Įach Primordial Harmony you have gains 40% increased damage.60 -> 100 The buffs from Chaos and Stone golem go up by 150% Well you have two more support golems, so one of them can be the one that gives cast/attack speed, which is some QoL. With Primoridal Chain you lose your Animate Guardian buffs, you lose the more multiplier on your Carrion Golems, you lose your charges you get from your specters (assuming you use charge generating spectres) Right now you have 6 Carrion Golems for damage, and 2 non damage golems for buffs. (Been a while since i did golems, have been on a spectre/zombie/skeleton trip for a year now. I still think its worth useing, but its not as fer sure as I remembered. I forgot about the LESS golem damage mod on the ammy. The necro ascendency has a LOT of minion life in it. With Golementalist, non golem minions will be squishier than with a necro. (you have a lot of jewel slots in your tree.)Īnd no other pesky minions to worry about. (Without the More multiplier Carrion golems get from non golem minions, some peeps think Stone is a better dps golem, but it is debateable.)īut with 11 golems you can go 4 other golem types, and stack massive Primordial Harmonies, with 7 stone golems, and 4 others, each primordial Harmony is 100% increased golem damage, this stacks up fast. With Primordial Chain, you may want to have Stone golems as your primary damage dealer. It will take you up to 11 golems, which massively increases the bonuses you get from your chaos and stone golem. Or (And the last is what I do when i run a Golementalist) Spend some points to get the the 2nd minion defense cluster (and hope they do not die to physical damage.) The second Minion Defense Cluster also gives phys dam reduction to minions, a VERY non trivial source of minion survival. This does not matter for golems, as they are immune to elemental damage as an elementalist, but will cause other minions problems. Without this, your minions are not elemental resist capped. The big problem I see is the OP only has 1 of the two minion defensive clusters. Imagine the wedding priest from Princess Bride meets the Bride of Frankenstein meets Frau Blücher. Pekar, a freeFall alum, morphs from housemaid to lovely young ingenue, to a cockney boy, to an old German crone – Inga, my personal favorite, made me laugh out loud. What can I possibly say about the supporting ensemble of Kelly Pekar, James Putnam and Robert Teasdale? The rapid-fire ease with which they changed characters – a LOT of characters – was almost as impressive as their precise comic timing and the world (literally), of accents they mastered. The natural tempo and timing between Davis and McGee is born out of decades of working together, and the audience is the beneficiary. McGee narrates while performing and can still crack you up with just a look or motion, and with subtlety here. Yet McGee’s Watson is understated, mostly doing case recon for Holmes, allowing the ensemble to shine and deliver a good portion of the laughs. Watson – could you think of anyone else you’d want to play this role? No. Also, he looks great in a deerstalker cap. Bottom line – Davis is loud, overly dramatic (by design and in the best possible way), and he delivers – as always. Did Father demand too much? A new mystery to be solved – another time. It makes you wonder what kind of childhood Holmes must have had. He’s unintentionally funny – and has flashes of insecurity and self-recrimination at any mistake, no matter how small. Davis’s Holmes has all the hyberbolic brilliance you’ve come to expect, not just from Doyle’s perspective, but from a Ludwig character. WatsonĮric Davis, freeFall’s Artistic Director, returns to the stage after an almost four year hiatus – his last appearance being in James Goldman’s classic, The Lion in Winter. Eric Davis as Sherlock Holmes and Matthew McGee as Dr. After a few Ludwig plays, you begin to recognize the style and you’re all in. His humor adds depth and comic relief to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic characters. His work is staged over a thousand times a year – and locally at Asolo Rep in Sarasota ( Murder on the Orient Express) and here at freeFall. Playwright, Ken Ludwig loves adapting classics like The Three Musketeers, Murder on the Orient Express, and of course, Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles. Can they do it in two hours? Call me an optimist. Are hounds into all that material stuff? The crime-solving game is afoot, and Holmes and Watson have about 40 potential suspects to investigate. Could history be repeating itself? The Baskerville Mansion and estate are at stake. The myth is that a huge and vicious hound lurking on the English Moors is responsible – just as it was for a Baskerville ancestor. Two of the Baskervilles have been murdered. A murder mystery set on the 1890s Devonshire Moors and environs, with a mythic murderous hound and great performances, Baskerville is altogether a wonderfully entertaining theater experience. It’s a bandwagon you’ll have no difficulty jumping on. Pete to sold out crowds and great acclaim.
